Opticians

I have been a licensed optician for 10 years and truly love helping people see.  I have worked for Eye Care on the Ridge for 6 years and love being part of a great team and family.  I am married to the love of my life and we have three amazing teenagers.  When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time cooking for my family and friends.

 I joined Eye Care on the Ridge in 2018 with over 15 years experience in the optical field.  I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Concord University and am a Certified Optician as well as a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant.  I love crafting the perfect pair of eyeglasses for each patient.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 4 grandchildren, gardening, hiking, and serving in my church.

I am a certified paraoptometric and love my job and fellow co-workers.  When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and serving my church and community.

I am a Certified Paraoptometric.  I have been working in thie field for 15 years now.  I love our patients and over the years many have become like family to me.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for 24 years.  We have two adults sons who have been an absolute joy to us.  I love doing things outside, decorating, and crafts.  I have taken a recent liking to Pinterest and have a huge list of things I would like to try my hand at.  Family and faith are very important to me.

I am 20 years old and have lived in Wythe County all my life.  I enjoy working as a technician and working with all the staff.

I was born and raised just outside of Charlotte, NC.  I moved up to the Wytheville area this past summer and love working in our tight knit office.  I enjoy meeting patients and helping people see.

 I just recently moved to the Hillsville area from Charlotte NC.  My degree is in Elementary Ed from BYU in Utah.  Watching children grow through education is very rewarding to me.  Now, I look forward to watching people improve through their vision.  I feel very blessed to be a part of this team.  My family consists of 7 wonderful children (including a sweet daughter-in-law), a granddaughter, and a kind husband who brought his children and grandchildren into my life. 

I graduated from Big Creek High School in War, WV and National Business College in Roanoke, VA with an accounting degree.  I've worked in the medical field for over 30 years, mostly in a business office setting.  When I moved to Wytheville to be closer to family, I was fortunate to get a job with Eye Care on the Ridge.  I enjoy working with the public and helping people.  Eye Care on the Ridgehas given me the opportunity to learn new skills and to do something I enjoy.

I am a native of Galax, VA.  I have 19 years of experience in the optometry field and I enjoy interacting with the public.  My hobby is farming. 

I have an associate degree in medical office administration and have over 10 years experience in the eye care industry.  I am one of the key insurance coordinators but may also be found helping patients at the front desk, taking care of patient billing, or in the optical department helping out.  I am a wife and mother of two young children.  When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling. 

I grew up in Carroll County, but now live in Grayson County with my husband,  I have worked in the optometry field in the past for 17 years.  I am very fortunate to be back working with a great practice. 

I live in Hillsville, VA.  I am blessed to have three amazing kids.  I've worked at Eye Care on the Ridge for a little over six years now and love it.
